Men’s Support Services
There are some local and state-wide support services available for men. Below is a list of some of the services that some of our past participants have found helpful in addition to Men & Co. Services.

Men’s groups
Men’s Wellbeing Inc.

Men’s groups across Brisbane North, South and the Gold Coast. Program include, weekend camps, groups and workshops. Men’s Well Being Inc. offer a welcome without judgement and the opportunity to self-explore how to become a better man in a safe and confidential environment with other men who share similar challenges and aspirations.
Silky Oaks – Embrace Men’s Wellness Group

Costs covered by Medicare on a Mental Health Plan. Embrace Wellness Hub offers group therapy programs held fortnightly on a Thursday morning in Manly. Receive support and motivation of peers. Group numbers are kept small, generally consisting of 6-10 participants.
Mankind Project

Structured weekly meetings at Cannon Hill Capalaba and Daisy Hill. A group for men committed to their own personal growth and supporting any man who wants to improve themselves. Men are given a space to explore their ‘shadows’ (any feeling or emotion that they deny or repress), which affect the way they approach and view the world.
Living Well

If you are a man who has been sexually abused in childhood or assaulted as an adult, or are a partner, family member or friend, know that information and support to live well is available here. Living well provides a “drop-in” men’s group that is a more casual catch up and support group and, while they are held on a monthly basis, there is no commitment or expectation involved.

The Fathering Project

The Fathering Project aims to improve child development outcomes by inspiring and equipping fathers and father figures to effectively engage with their kids.
Dads Group

Dads Groups are a gathering of new fathers meeting together weekly with their kids, a coffee, and often a playground. The peer-to-peer approach of Dads Groups create an evidenced based and effective framework for support — something that is often missing from the existing fatherhood experience in Australia

Triple P is an internationally-acclaimed parenting program which is offered free to all Queensland parents and carers of children up to 16 years of age.
